I am trying to update my tax software. The older posts do not seem to work for Windows 10. The message I am getting: "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

A Side-by-side error generally indicates a problem with one of the Visual C++ redistributables in Windows 10

sxstrace.exe is built in the 2013 version of that redistributable, so the best option is to download and re-install that version form the link below . . .

there is no solution for thid i have tried the link which u have send me to email but it is showing the same side by side configuration

and there is the another problem also it is the exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e)occured in the application at location 0x0000000754b4192 so kindly take th action and help me to reslove it fast and i cant instal the app microsoft teams app. so my bro is having the online clas so i want to instal it but it is telling all this erros so take it fast and reslove it
