Hdmi and brightness control stopped working after gpu scheduling

I enabled GPU scheduling under display in settings. Now my hdmi has stopped working and the brightness controls are also not working.

I am unable to change the brightness, I have tried searching for the setting but it's not under any menu.

I have tried turning gpu scheduling off, reinstalling drivers and restarting my system but it's not working.

How do I fix it?

    Hi Rhaine,

    Thanks for the suggestion!

The real trick was to uninstall the monitor driver(not the display adapter drivers) from the device manager and restart the computer. The brightness slider then popped up and my laptop's hdmi port also started working.

I think some driver associations are getting messed up because of this new feature.
