I have not made a single change to display settings but most web pages are opening too large for the screen.  How to fix?

Hi klaro, My name is Jeremy, a Windows Independent Adviser. I'll be happy to help you out today. Let’s see what I can do.

I understand your frustration there and I apologize for any inconvenience it may cause you. Rest assured that I will do my best to help you

This may be caused by accidentally changing the zoom settings in your browser, please try to click on the 3 dots on the upper right corner of your browser and verify if the "Zoom" is set to 100%

If that didn't work, you may reset the browser to set it back to its default settings, to do that click on the 3 dots again from the upper right corner and click on settings, if there's a search bar, simply type "reset" and results will show and select the reset or restore to default settings, however, reset will delete everything from your browser so if you have favorites, please do back it up first before performing the method

Please let me know if what browser are you using so I can provide steps on how you have back up your browser's data

Let me know how it goes

    Kind regards,

    Jeremy

Thanks Jeremy, Zoom in Edge is set at 80% which cannot account for the oversized pages.  This problem only began this morning although no changes of any kind have been made.  Display driver seems to b e up to date.  I'll just keep fiddling with it til' fixed(or not).  Thank you.

It is not a problem with font size, it is the entire page that is opening far too large.

I have made no changes but overnight the pages began to open so large that I must scroll just to read any 3 lines onscreen at one time.  It is the oversized web pages that are suddenly opening too large.  I know there is a setting other than in Settings which will correct this but I can't locate it.

Have you change from the 3 dots on the upper right > select "Settings" > then "Appearance" > on the right pane, scroll down below and check the "Font size", mine was set to medium, you can see if what font size fits your standard

    I hope this will help

Hi klaro, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience, however, have you tried restarting your device and see if that will help?

or if you want to consider resetting your edge I will be happy to assist you.

I've restarted several times to no avail.  I did note that in Settings>Display>Change Size of Apps on Main Display the box reads 175% but is greyed in so am unable to change it.  I know that somewhere in settings there is a way to fix it but I can't see it anywhere.
