    Hi

My name is Bernard and hopefully, this will help answer your question, actually your device can be upgraded to Windows 10 based on the minimum system requirements below:

Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC

RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit

Hard disk space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS or 20 GB for 64-bit OS

Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver

    Display: 800 x 600

Moreover I suggest for you to use or upgrade to SSD instead of HDD for your storage, this will allow you to maximize the apps and for better performance and or add 4 GB of Ram (If the motherboard can handle 8GB ram)

For you to upgrade to Windows 10, here are the steps:

Step 1. You need to purchase a License of Windows 10, either on your trusted retailer or on Microsoft Store website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/b/windows

Step 2. Once you have the product key you can either upgrade your PC using Media creation tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-downlo... click upgrade now or download tool now then follow the steps.

Step 3. Once you run the Media creation tool it will ask you for a product key, just input the product key you have purchased.

Then it will be on Windows 10.

Note: It is either you do upgrade or do clean installation of Windows 10 (Clean installation will wipe out all apps and files on the PC and will install Windows 10)

Let me know how does it goes and I hope that helps :)

    Bernard

You may or may not still get 10 for free, but you first have to see if 10 is compatible with your device.

The free upgrade to Windows 10 offer from Microsoft expired on the 29th July, 2016.

You will have to contact MS support and they may be able to assist you with a free upgrade to 10..

First thing to do is to make sure that you have the correct system requirements and that your Computer Manufacturer supplies the correct Drivers for 10 for your Model Number.

If you read those Microsoft's system requirements for 10, you will find that if you only go on them you will be sadly disappointed in performance.

For reasonable performance should have at least:

2 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor.

4 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 8 GB for 64-bit

    500GB hard drive

DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver

If you are  go the upgrade path to 10 at least make a system image backup for two reasons.

    1. Some people report they don't get the free upgrade and want to reinstall 7.
    2. If you don't do the system checks and 10 is incompatible with your device and it becomes inoperable.
