Volume Meter popup and currently playing audio not showing up and audio buttons not working

My computer isn't showing the popup on the top left corner for volume meter and currently playing song when I press any of the Play, pause, skip or the volume keys on my keyboard. And applications like spotify or youtube don't pause or skip correctly now when I press the keys(the ones used for pausing and skipping, the volume ones work fine but aren't displaying), this used to work 2 days ago. Anyone knows what can I do?

I see. Then it should be a driver problem. Using Windows in Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. Please run Windows Update and the drivers for your keyboard.

Alright so I did enable safe mode but it didn't seem to solve the issue because I wasn't able to use the buttons in it(like they didn't work with it enabled).

Thank you for the update. I suggest then for you to start Windows in Safe mode. Follow the steps here:

See if you will have the same problem on Safe mode. Let me know what happens after.

Hi Bianca, sadly that doesn't fix the issue, and it's not like an audio issue but more of like the keys don't work as they usually do, none of them display the popup but they do kinda work, the volume ones still adjust the volume but the Play/Pause, next and previous buttons only work when the specific window is open when it should work in any other window aswell.

PD: It's not a problem with the keyboard either I think because I tested it on other computers and in those it works fine.
