    Hi;

My name is Abdirahman, I am an independent advisor and Windows 10 user. I am happy to help with your request.

Please see the link below and read an article with following the steps to make ownership without admin

    https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/a...

Note: There are links to non-Microsoft websites. The pages appear to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the sites that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the sites before you decide to download and install it.

I hope this information is helpful. please keep me updated on the status of this issue. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will be glad to help you.

    Thank you!

    Kind regards
    Abdirahman

    Thanks for your reply.

I found this in another user forum:

    [ quote start ]

If you have a particular application that you want to always run without UAC, you can target it with the Registry (add the text to a REG file and import it into the Registry):

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers]

    "C:\example\application.exe"="RunAsInvoker"

    [ quote end ]

    https://superuser.com/questions/171917/force-a-...

To import the file you just need to double click it and confirm de operation.

You have to change C:\example\application.exe to FL Studio executable path.

Have you tried also the FL Studio support? What do they say about it?

Hi! My name is Anderson Souza. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you, I'll be glad to help you today.

There is any issue running this as admin? Some programs does require elevated privileges to run so they can work properly.

I tried running it as admin and I get the same message. I need to start it without being an admin otherwise some features are disabled.

Yes, doing some search here I saw that FL Studio has some issues with Admin Privileges: https://support.image-line.com/action/knowledge...

You are running the latest Fl Studio version? What version are you running?

Depending of the version you are running some features may be not present:

    https://www.image-line.com/fl-studio/compare-ed...

And some users have reported bugs related to what you ask, as I am not registered on the FL Studio forum I could not see the whole discussion:

    https://forum.image-line.com/viewtopic.php?t=20...

In any case, if you are not using a trial version of FL you can also use the official product support, all paid editions are entitled to individualized support.
