Hi! I am trying to install a software that I bought. whenever I try to run the Autoplay file to start the software installation, I get not response. I also tried to run the file using elevated command prompt but still got no response.
i tried to google it and it lead me to some modifications on regedit, services.msc
Base on my research the version of Windows that I am using does not include Local Group Policy, so I downloaded the file and installed it just to see if the issue might resolve. But no luck at all.
I also check for an update and a full scan using Windows Security, update policy
I think this issue only appears after the update of Windows 10.
My computer is running Windows 10 Home Single Language version 1909

Hi markish04
The AutoPlay file just references the actual installation file, right click the AutoPlay file and choose to Open With - Notepad
You should then be able to see the location of that actual setup file that will start the installation, right click and run that setup file as Administrator instead . . .
The AutoPlay folder has no location or instruction on how to install the software.
That Autoplay file i believe it it the actual installer of the software. as you can see it is 522 KB.
