A "non-N" version of Windows is the standard version, and iCloud should install with no additional "feature pack" needed.
“N” editions of Windows are available in Europe, and are missing a few media-related features. On Windows 7, you’ll find that Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center are missing.
Click Start, type Windows Media Player in the Search box. Is a link found? If you press Enter, does Windows Media Player start? See screenshot below.
If you do not have Windows Media Player, you have an "N" version, not a "non-N" version of Windows.
On the other hand, if you do have Windows Media Player, you shouldn't need the "Media Feature Pack."
If you need the Windows Media Feature Pack for Windows 7, get it here (as long as you have Service Pack 1): https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16546 (pick the 32-bit or 64-bit version as appropriate for your system).
I suspect that something else is going on. Exactly how are you attempting to "update iCloud"?
Media Feature Pack for Win7 (non N)
I tried to update iCloud on my non-N win7 computer. The error message said I needed Media Feature Pack. Where do I find that? It seems to only be available for Win10/ win N computers...
