Ethernet in Windows 10 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

Hello,

I have an Ethernet connection to my Desktop as the wireless connection is not available for it, but now it stops working and when I troubleshoot the error, it says that the default gateway is not available and it get solved; but after a few minutes the same problem happens again and I have to keep on troubleshooting the error to solve this issue again and again.

I have tried most solutions, like resetting the drivers, restarting the modem, trying to install other new drivers, changing the IPv4 Address, but it still keeps on happening.

Is there any other solution which I have still left out?

I have a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

Thank you for taking your time

    Hello,

    Please try these steps:

    1. Open Device Manager.
    2. Locate your network adapter, right click and select Properties.
    3. In the property sheet, switch to Power Management tab.
    4. Uncheck Allow computer to turn off this device to save power option.
    5. Click OK, close Device Manager.

See if the issue is resolved.

If issue still persists, try Network Reset:

    1. Open Settings app, click Network & Internet > Status > Network reset link.
    2. Now click on Reset button on next screen.
    3. In confirmation prompt appearing next, click Yes.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Borntechie.Junior,

go to Device Manager, expand network adapters, select your ethernet adapter> Energy Saver tab, deselect this option. Also, go to the Advanced tab and disable any energy saving option.

Well, I have tried that solution as well but it doesn't work with me, are there any other solutions?

(It is not a wireless connection, It is Ethernet)
