Lately ive been getting some radar events in event viewer. Its happening on multiple processes not only games. Im trying to figure out if this can be caused by hardware being overclocked and if so do i need to worry about it appearing cause i swear a game crashed before at the same time that the event appeared.

RADAR is Microsoft's Memory Leak Detector so that error indicates an App/program is not properly handling memory. Check-in TaskManager and/or use Process Explorer from SysInternals. It is often a game though the error issued is just informative and a report was sent to Microsoft. So you really do not need to do anything.

Process Explorer - Free (SysInternals is part of Microsoft)

Check-in Task Manager and/or use Process Explorer. Note that almost all errors that show up in the Event Viewer log are really not important.

In any case, this is a software issue, an App or program not properly managing its memory and not a hardware issue though I suppose some errant memory "tweaking" could cause some memory to become unusable. Some games, such as BlackOps are known to frequently cause the report to be written.

I would not worry about it.

There have been people saying faulty ram can cause this to populate the logs. So i wanted to make sure. These really only started popping up after tweaking my ram timings.. or so i thought? Is this a normal error to see in events? Cause if thats the case then a couple of my games including explorer.exe caused entries to populate

Okay thank you. Ill poke around with process explorer and see what i can find. If i keep seeing it I'll loosen my ram timings and see if the entries stop or happen less.
