Hi, my name is Neil, I'm an independent adviser and a Windows 10 user like you.

Sorry you're experiencing this issue in Paint 3D.

Please try and reset the App using the following instructions:

Press your windows key + I to open Settings and then navigate to Apps > Apps & Features > Paint 3D > Advanced Options > Reset and then press the Reset button.

This will reset the App and hopefully resolve your problem.

Let me know how you get on.

OK. I've got a strange feeling that this may be related to your personalisation settings in Windows colours.

I've got my settings on custom and in Paint 3D it looks like the screenshot I took below.

Can you check for me that your menu items are still there, but just invisible until you click on them.

If you look at your image you can see your Brushes is selected and visible. Try clicking next to brushes and see if 2D shapes appears. If it does, we know your menu bar has not disappeared, the tools are there, it's just not visible and I would put this down to your Windows colour scheme and transparency settings.

Try changing these and you should find your menu bar becomes visible again.

Let me know how you get on.
