So im currently booting using Legacy boot and my drive is formatted as MBR however im thinking about switching to UEFI as I would need the secure boot option for a small project im in the middle of doing. As far as I know, my BIOS supports UEFI according to HWiNFO.

I want to say my motherboard is an Intel Oneonta Falls Mobo. Intel 6 series/C200 series chipset. Im understand that ill have to eventually probably end up reformatting my drive as GPT, thats not an issue. If anyone can help me with this, please help me.

    Hi Jason

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

It is very hard to find information on that board, because it has been discontinued . . .

Boot into BIOS (usually F2 key) on the manufacturers screen . . .

Then look for a Secure Boot option or UEFI/Legacy switch, if you find either, then your mobo supports UEFI . . .
