NVContainerWindowClass00001CB4

Hi

I got the screen - 'NVContainerWindowClass00001CB4 is still running' when I shut down my desktop.  However, the computer shuts down eventually.

I have tried to delete the NVContainer folder in C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation, but still find 2 NVContainer in the Task Manager.

Please advise how to fix.

I am using Window 10.

Regards

Bill

Hi Bill

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Display Adapters section, and uninstall the Nvidia graphics drivers form there

Then go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website and form there, download and install the version of Nvidia drivers they recommend . .

    Hi

I've uninstalled in the Apps & features and re-install, but it doesn't work.

    I found the file location:

    C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvhdci.inf_amd64_89e3dec2a908dbbe\Display.NvContainer\

which I can't delete this folder.

    Please assist.

    Regards

    Bill

    Hi Bill

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

The best option to resolve this is to completely uninstall your Nvidia graphics card device driver, then go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and install the version of that Nvidia graphics driver they recommend . . .
