This is what appears after windows boots up for the first time.
New Windows 10 Install and I get "NVIDIA Control Panel is not found." as a pop-up.
This is a fresh install. Has happened to me twice.
Green and Black window. Underneath the "NVIDIA Control Panel is not found." is "Click here to install NVIDIA Control Panel from Microsoft store."
Last year when I installed Windows 10 on systems there was no popup like this. Now two times this has happened.
I searched online and either by search-fu is lame or no one else has reported this.
Just seems odd to me. Why is this happening. The two systems I have done do have Nvidia cards in them. I have not loaded and AMD system yet. Wonder if I would get something similar.
It's just annoying and want to know why this is automatically popping up on a fresh install.
TIA!

2020-08-01T02:54:34+00:00 Okay. My mistake. How can the message be coming from Nvidia? Is there some type of new "communication" on Nivdia cards on newly installed Windows annoyingly prompting you to install their software. That seems rather aggressive and why would Microsoft allow that behavior?

2020-08-01T01:55:32+00:00 I have not installed NCP. So why would I need to fix it? This comes up after a fresh install and before I do the round of updates.

I have no installed ANYTHING other than load windows.
THIS IS A NEW INSTALL. Sorry for the caps, but the two replies are suggesting I installed the NCP. And I have not.
I probably could update the version I have I am currently using to install.
Why would a windows install have this packaged or is this something new for W10 if it detects a certain card it will annoying suggest you install some software.
Thanks!!!
