Good Morning,  This is Duke Wall with a question concerning my old 30G Zune MP3 Player (HALO 3 Edition).  I love that old "Brick", and have my ENTIRE music collection on it!!  I have carried that thing through several marathons, and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!  It finally quit on me.  My question is, "How do I transfer all of my music from the Zune to a computer file?  Thank you all SO much, and have a GREAT DAY!!!   (Mod removed)

They are supposed to let you download anything that was in your Zune library. I still have my 30 gig also.

Thanks for the feedback, Bro!  So were you able to download your music?  If so, please let me know how you did it.  My 30G Zune is completely full of music.  I'd sure like to transfer it!!  Thanks!!  Duke

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand the concern as the Zune software is not working in Windows 10 and you want to transfer the music file to the PC.

You can try and install it using Compatibility Mode and check.

    1. Download the Zune Software.
    2. Try installing the software in the compatibility mode.
    3. Launch the Zune software
    4. Click the Zune player on the toolbar menu and then click the type of media you want to transfer from the device, such as Music, Videos, Pictures or Podcasts.
    5. Now select your preferred media type, a list of the files saved on the Zune player will appear on the screen.
    6. Select the files you want to transfer to the computer and drag them to the computer icon. The files will be transferred and saved to the Zune folder on the PC. Alternatively, you can right-click the highlighted files and select the “Copy to Collection” option to copy the files from the Zune player.

Let us know the results. If the issue persists, we will certainly assist you further.
