Why is Fox News not an option on the MSN Website?

I feel that MSN is keeping people from having a balanced view of the news.

    Hi Don.

I use outlook as my email service (my employer and school require MSN). Truth be told, I am very happy with MSN Outlook. They are fantastic. However, I noticed the only Newsfeeds available are those like CNN and MSNBC. I requested Fox News be added as an option for the MSN Website and I was told by MSN technical assistance that MSN does not allow Fox News on their MSN Website.

So, by default, I and my co-workers are fed constant Progressive Racist views by CNN and are forced to make special efforts (as you suggested - going to OTHER WebSites) to be exposed to other viewpoints. I wish I understood why MSN is so frightened to provide a balanced (both Left AND Right) perspective.

Thanks again for your response. : )

    Tony

You are right, Don. I am not "locked" into MSN. That is not the issue.

I trust MSN services. I enjoy their services. That is great. I just want to know WHY they openly advertise CNN and MSNBC but avoid mentioning Fox News feeds? I am concerned because they are encouraging people to ONLY consider news from reporters like CNN and MSNBC.

CNN and MSNBC make false reports. They avoid showing riots, they avoid providing the whole story in police incidents, and they are clearly anti-Trump. They are biased. The only way to fix the problem is to allow conservative and classical liberal news channels to provide an alternate perspective - and let viewers decide based on ALL the facts. Once CNN and MSNBC have competition, ALL the news channels (including Fox News) will be forced to be more truthful and careful about reporting the facts.

The MSN website (which appears anytime someone signs out of their account) should do the ethically right thing and show ALL the major news options. They don't have to agree - just be fair. In the long run, it will benefit MSN's customers because society will be better informed about issues (because they see both sides) and there won't be racial divides and inaccurate views of law enforcement.

Why does MSN purposely leave out Fox News on their website?

I don't see, at https://www.msn.com/en-us/ a way to select sources of news. I'd suggest that you go to https://www.foxnews.com/ or use the Windows 10 News App (Start > Microsoft News, which does allow you to select sources.

Sorry. I don't know what else to say except that no news aggregation site will please everyone.

Go to sites you want to go to and read the stories you want to read.

Regardless of whether you access this outlook.com email account with a browser or the installed program, Office Outlook or the Windows 10 Mail App, I don't know why an outlook.com email account requires that you access www.msn.com or have it as the Home page or have the Microsoft News Feed on your Home page or New Tab page.

In what way are you locked into msn?
