I wish to mute the program vDos, but it does not appear on the App Volume and Device Preferences, how can I add this program to volume control so I can mute it? or Is there any other way to mute said app without turning off Master Speaker?

The app itself does not have a config option to turn off sound.

    Hello AaronFernando,

I am Antonio, a Microsoft Community independent advisor, a Windows 10 and Microsoft office user like you. I hope I can help you on your concern.

Can you please try these steps:

    1. In taskbar, right-click the sound icon and select Open Volume Mixer
    2. Do you see the App your are looking there?

    If not try this one:

    1. In taskbar, right-click the sound icon and select Sounds
    2. Under playback tab, do you see the vDos app? If yes, you can disable it there.

You're response is highly appreciated. Please let me know if the issue is fixed, if not, we will find another way.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    Keep safe always.

    Sincerely,

    Antonio

    Hi Jocelyn,

I have already done that, but the app I'm trying to mute does not show on the app list so I'm unable to mute said app.
