Aloha,

I've attempted to update from this version Windows 10 Professional (x64) Version 1709 (build 16299.1087) and build for the last year or so.  Every time I get it to begin download and install it halts at this message:

AMD Ryzen™ or AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ configured in SATA or NVMe RAID mode.

A driver is installed that causes stability problems on Windows. This driver will be disabled. Check with your software/driver provider for an updated version that runs on this version of Windows.

I have an Intel CPU/Chipset and the only thing that I've installed recently was a new NVMe storage drive. A Samsung one to be more specific. I tried to remove the drive and install the new updates and it still shows up as such.  Your help in this matter is appreciated in advance.

Thank you

Thank you for the reply, Abdirahman.  I'm gonna keep this simple.

I went into my Device Mgr and went to storage devices.

Found the 2 AMD raid controller/support and removed them. Since I don't use any of my drives in RAID at all.

    Rebooted.

Opened Windows Update and selected troubleshooter and fixed the issues it had.

Ran update and began to install.

    Came back and rebooted.

Now PC is up to date and running well.

Thank you for taking the time to read my issue and offer a solution. I just took a chance when I removed the controllers. Didn't think of it until I saw the laundry list of things to do to resolve the issue. I appreciate your time.  Until my next issue, lol, take care and stay safe.
