Hi SheenaRajan4,
I'm Benedict, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. Sorry to hear that, I'm here to help and work with you in your concerns.
Have you tested your headphone to other devices to check if it's really working? If so, try updating your audio output drivers by doing this:
- Open Start Menu.
- Type Device Manager and Open it.
- Double-Click on the category Sound, video and game controllers.
- Under this category, right-click on the Realtek High Definition Audio driver and select "Update Driver".
- Next select "Search Automatically..."
- Restart your computer.
If the procedure above doesn't work, kindly try this:
- Locate again the Realtek High Definition Audio driver.
- Rght-click on the that, select "Uninstall device" and confirm to uninstall.
- Next right-click on any category and select "Scan for hardware changes".
- Restart your computer.
Please let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Benedict P.
