Thank you for your reply. I've tried using the keyboard and mouse on another laptop, with no success.
Wireless Comfort 5050 Keyboard and mouse no longer connecting
I've been using the Wireless comfort keyboard + mouse 5050 with my Mac for the past couple of years. However, they have suddenly stopped working. I've checked the batteries of the mouse and keyboard and plugged the adapter in multiple ports, but there seems to be no connection. My Mac doesn't register any mouse movement or keystrokes. Any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
I understand that you are unable to use the Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5050 keyboard and mouse. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.
One thing I would suggest you is to try connecting the keyboard and mouse to any other device and see if it works.
We do have a dedicated team for issues related to Microsoft hardware and accessories. Let me point you in the right direction. I would suggest you to refer the article on How to contact Microsoft if you have questions about your Hardware device. to get in touch with the hardware support team.
