on computer which printer has installed and want to share it,
1- open registry editor
2-go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print
3- if you have RpcAuthnLevelprivacyEnabled then set to 0 and restart computer and enjoy the sharing printer.
4-if you don't have RpcAuthnLevelprivacyEnabled, you must make a new key for it as follow:
-right click and make a new DWORD(32 bit)
-make name RpcAuthnLevelprivacyEnabled , -then restart your computer and everything will work.

2021-11-30T00:13:53.307+00:00 I recently started getting this error on both of my Windows 11 Pro machines while trying to connect to a shared printers on the machines. Both machines have all updates installed. I am able to connect to files but not the printers. None of the solutions posted have worked included the registry changes. Both printers are HP. One is a Lasrjet and one is a Photosmart. Both are attached to USB ports on their respective machines. When I click on them from the desktop network I can I can see the printer but cannot connect to it without getting the 11b error. I can install each of them on the other machine locally so the print drivers appear to be correct. File sharing works but not printer sharing. One printer has wireless capability and I can successfully connect to that version but not he one on the USB port. Suggests please as I have run out of options
