Happened to me today...after 4 hours of the typical nonsense trying to mess around with updates and uninstalls, I was able to see that the new update has caused windows to rename Bluetooth to unknown usb...under device manager I deleted it, powered completely off, unplugged everything, powered back on, back to device manager, bluetooth advanced, clicked all options for visibility, etc, then I was able to reconnect. Odd thing is that windows did not appear to reinstall anything. No idea. Just happy I can maybe meet my deadline now.

After trying out the solutions from "the professionals" for hours and failing I ended up fixing the problem thanks to TaraHickman2's comment. Uninstall that pesky "unknown USB device" under "universal serial bus controllers", shut off your pc, plug off all usb devices, power up, plug them back in and Voila! It's crazy. Thank you.

    Hello Rhaine,

thank you for trying to help me with this issue,

I will answer my results within your post.

Solution 1 – Change Power and Sleep Settings

Answer: as you can see in the photo, option 3 does not exists. (not under wifi as well)

    so i cannot test this.

Solution 2 – Update Bluetooth Driver

Answer: the problem is with ALL bluetooth not just mouse (the logitech mouse and keybord work OK with the logitech  adapter connected)

and there is no bluetooth in the divice manager. (even when hidden item is checked)

Solution 3 – Check if the Bluetooth service running

it was running and under automatic.

Solution 4 – Roll back your drivers

as I said in 2 there is no bluetooth in the divice manager :-(

Solution 5. –Check for Windows Updates

    my window is updated

sadly non of the solution you provided did not work.

    thank you

    Bob

was thinking about buying an adapter...

but this is like a bypass... not a solution. :-(

wondering how this thing can happen, is it a window issue? Lenovo issue?

    again,

    thank for your help.

    Bob
