Microsoft Jigsaw Backgrounds

Apparently, nobody from the Microsoft Games department ever reads these posts.  There are a lot of us with the same problem which they created and only they can solve, but they have left us to fend for ourselves with the illusion that this forum could actually provide an answer.  This is frustrating!

A bunch of the backgrounds that used to be available for the jigsaw puzzles have disappeared from the options.  I particularly miss the lighter wood grain background.  I used it most often.  It helped me see the contrasts better (I'm fairly color blind).

Could you please put them back in?

Ihave the same problem! the ones that are there are dark and it really is hard for me to see the edges of a puzzle piece unless the edge of the piece is light. I even subscribed thinking I would get the larger options again, but it did at least let me move the irritating sidebar and tray so I have more room. Why do people always have to mess up a good thing! not many things in life I am completely satisfied with but this was one of them that I was and now this.. shame on you Microsoft!

I would like them back as well!! What is the point of taking them away?? I miss the light greyish-blue one. I also noticed that the arrange tool piles up the pieces in one spot as well. Not easy to find things now.

Please bring back more background color choices--especially the light woodgrain pattern.

I fully agree. Now there are only five, three of them (dark, brown, dark wood) are quite similar, and often too dark to give any contrast, then one (paper) that is often too light. Remains only one (green felt) that is more or less universally usable. 

Remains the question .. why ??
