I deleted all my Microsoft Visual c++ Redistributable files thinking they were unimportant, and I've only managed to successfully recover some of them

I have successfully reinstalled the x86 and x64 Microsoft Visual c++ Redistributable files for the years:

2005

2008

2010

2012

2013

I haven't been able to uninstall a file labelled: Microsoft Visual c++ Redistributable 2015-2019 (x64) 14.26.28720.

When trying to uninstall it it gives me the error:

Windows cannot find 'C:\ProgramData\Package Cache{7d607fb4-7e28-4c7a-a92f-3fcdaf555faf}\VC_redistx64.exe'. Make sure you've typed the name correctly, then try again.

I want to uninstall this 2015-2019 bundle and install the versions 2015, 2017, 2019 individually. But having the bundle above still installed prevents me from doing so.

A secondary error (the main error while trying to install a game) is that I do not have the installation package:

'vc_runtimeMinimum_x64.msi'

Any help on how to install the appropriate Microsoft Visual c++ Redistributables and how to get the installation package aforementioned would be greatly appreciated

    Alternative Reinstaller

As an alternative, there is an all-in-one installer sponsored by Major Geeks.com which will automatically uninstall and reinstall all Visual C++ libraries, including updating Visual C++ 2015 to the newer, rebranded 2017. All products that use 2015 should still function with 2017.

Note: MajorGeek.com is not affiliated with Microsoft. Use at your own risk.

    Hi StefanKrekeler,

Get the latest supported Visual C++ downloads from the link below.

    Windows 10

Windows 10 uses troubleshooters to help you solve problems with your PC. To run a troubleshooter:

Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

Select the type of troubleshooting you want to do, then select Run the troubleshooter.

Allow the troubleshooter to run and then answer any questions on the screen. If you see a message that no changes or updates were necessary, you can try recovery options, or find out more about Outlook error codes and upgrade and installation error codes.

    Regards,

    Lee

My system wont allow me to uninstall Microsoft Visual c++ Redistributable 2015-2019 (x64) 14.26.28720. When trying to uninstall this file it gives me an error saying:

Windows cannot find 'C:\ProgramData\Package Cache{7d607fb4-7e28-4c7a-a92f-3fcdaf555faf}\VC_redistx64.exe'. Make sure you've typed the name correctly, then try again.

I don't know how to remove this, and I'm unsure which specific troubleshooter I should use
