I have the same issue, chrome and edge cannot access the camera despite all correct permissions. Firefox accesses the camera, as well as other windows desktop applications.
has anyone found a fix?

Hey everyone!
I've ran into an issue that I was hoping someone could provide some insight on.
When attempting to use the webcam in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, I have been unable to do so. It has only been working in Firefox.
When verifying the Camera & Privacy settings, Firefox is the only allowed browser as well.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to let me know how it would be possible to add Chrome or Edge to this list? The camera is allowed in both browsers but Windows itself will not allow them to be accessed.
Thank you!

Have you tried navigation the camera permission on edge, and let's see if it's turned on?
Please let me know how this goes
Kind regards,
Jeremy
Thanks Jeremy, to you as well!
