Problem with recording audio in Windows 10

Hi there

Up until this week I have been using a Behringer UCA222 Audio Interface to digitize my record collection without any problems.

The device stopped working. I have removed it from the laptop but now when I try to record in an audio editor I am getting a dialog box flash up saying Input Device Error : Undefined External Error.

I have tried two audio editors and got the same problem.

I have run a compatability test in Cool Edit Pro which is my preferred editor.

Does anyone have a fix for this.

I am considering a reset of my laptop but I'm sure there's a solution.

thanks

David
