Agent.exe has been popping up every five seconds or so, prompting that it has failed to run some kind of application. I tried to use the task management strategy, but Agent.exe wasn't even on the list of items that I could force a stop to. is there any other way to stop it? Thank you!
How to delete or disable agent exe???
I found out in the last 2 days this program called agent.exe how downloaded 200+gb? can anyone tell me what this is and why??

Agent.exe is used by some software to connect to their own servers to check if there is an available update to download and install, so it is a valid service. If you suspect that the service is kind of alarming, you might want to run your antivirus to check if there is a malicious threat to your machine. Maybe malware was injected into it which is why it is not acting the normal way.
Could you verify please where the agent.exe is located? In Task Manager right-click agent.exe then select the open file location.
Please let me know how it goes. And do not hesitate to get back to us if you need further assistance. I will be more than happy to help
Best regards,
Van
