It's possible you need drivers from Gigabyte to allow the install process to detect the hardware

Hi everyone!
I am trying to install Microsoft Windows 10 as a second OS on my brand new PC with M/B: Gigabyte z390 UD and SSD M.2 1TB GigaByte. This is the only drive installed and it seems that Windows cannot detect any drive on my computer, however Fedora Linux (as well as any other) works perfectly fine right out of the box. I googled that and found some tips but it didn't help. I tried disabling CSM, secure
boot, fast boot, I tried enabling all that mentioned as well - same behavior. I can obviously buy an additional SSD and connect to SATA, but I don't think it’s worth. I have plenty of space on my 1TB drive and I created special empty partition for Windows.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Thank you for the reply. Actually I
am using gigabyte motherboard, not intel (model mentioned in my original post). Will it still help or I need another drivers?
Thanks,
Tigran
What about these https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z390-UD-rev-10/support#support-dl-driver-sataraidahci
in particular the Intel SATA preinstall driver. (top of the list)
