Hi Team

I have recently purchased new Laptop from HP which comes with Windows 10, Currently it is having OS as "Microsoft Windows 10 Home" and version as 10.0.18362 Build 18362.

It was working perfectly till 2 months and since 3rd month there was some windows update on my system which got installed automatically and post that my WIFI got vanished more frequently.

I raised the ticket with HP and they did some BIOS update and it worked again perfectly for 15 days until some new windows update came.

I again raised the ticket with HP and they again updated my BIOS but this time it doesn't help & still I am frequently getting disconnected from WIFI and when I am going to Device manager, I can see error as This device cannot start. (Code 10)  on Intel (R) Wirless-AC 9560 with yellow exclamation mark.

I read some blog and disabled and enabled the Network adapter & it again connected but all of the sudden post 15-20 minutes, It again stopped with same error as code 10.

HP team did my hardware check and they inform it is fine and problem is due to latest windows update. Currently Latest BIOS installed on my system.

They suggested me to format the Laptop (i.e Factory reset) but problem is again there will be windows update and this problem will come.

I checked with Intel and they said that I am already on Latest update from Intel driver perspective and Microsoft should help as this problem comes post windows update.

Since now a days Latest Laptop do not have ethernet/LAN port so I left in middle whenever WIFI got disconnected.

Please suggest what shall I do to fix this problem permanently. I do not want to factory reset my Laptop just because of this issue.

Regards

Mohit

Hi Mr.Mohit  even I am facing this same problem in my Acer Swift 3.I did all the same task that whatever you did ie.updated intel drivers, factory reset my laptop, latest updated bios, disable and enable in device manager etc. and apart from it Acer care even replaced my WIFI card and even after replacing my wifi card Issue is not resolved. It is windows support issue and not hardware issue.

So I suggest you Disable Intel Wireless AC 9560 Adapter from device manager and purchase external USB WIFI ADAPTER, even I did the same.

You can also buy USB to ETHERNET converter if you have Ethernet cable.

    Thank you

Posting here in case other folks have a "This device cannot start." or "not migrated" message related to an Intel Wireless-AC 9560.

In the case of my son's Dell Inspiron laptop, I saw the above messages, and both the WiFi and Bluetooth had stopped working.  That was my clue that perhaps the device itself had gone bad.

I was able to get one for about $15, unscrewed the back-panel of the laptop, replaced the tiny device (and its 2 connecting wires) and it worked!  WiFi and Bluetooth were both fixed.  No driver updates or anything.

This is a picture of the little bugger (the bad one).  Fairly easy to replace.  Find a Youtube video to see how first.  Good luck.

I think purchase USB internet device because this problem seems temporary as mine and it will be fixed once there is an windows update related to WIFI drivers.

My Dell Inspiron's wireless AC network 9560 adaptor also stopping communicating with the internet and had the same issues as above.  It has been with Geek Squad for day 3 trying to remedy the problem.  Mine was 1 of 4 that has this issue from a Windows Update.  I suggested to replace the card but they are suggesting to purchase a USB internet device.  Still waiting on the decision.
