If you take a quick look at the Camera app, you will notice the little gear icon in the top left corner; that's for Settings.
I suggest maximizing your Camera app then clicking the Settings icon - otherwise, it simply doesn't show up.
At the top of the bar on the left you should see "Pro mode." Make sure that is "On" and then go back to the full Camera screen.
On the left side of your screen, below the timer, you will now see a small icon. That is now the Brightness and you can adjust it.
You are absolutely correct that there should be a full control panel to adjust brightness, contrast, etc. but there just isn't.
Best of luck.
The problem, RichardManningham, is that with the HD3000 there is no "camera app" that Microsoft provides. Unless there's settings in the specific app using the camera, you're SOL. In this case, Teams doesn't provide any advanced Camera settings other than
cheezy backgrounds.
Honestly... Dear Microsoft,
You've broken Skype. The clean, simple UI was beautiful and easy to use. Teams is a cluster F of options and buttons. No one gets it except the developers. The advanced camera functions we're all looking for were lost for no good reason. Please consider
putting back these features and cleaning up the Team's UI. Your attempt to continue SharePoint's adoption is commendable, but you are sacrificing Teams (and Skype) for this endeavor and it's not your best move.
