Hello LisaLayne2, welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Luiz Cruz, an independent consultant from Microsoft and I would be happy to help you.
I understand that your DVD player has stopped working properly. To be more assertive in your question, was this behavior presented after upgrading to Windows 10?
To update the driver, search for it on the device manufacturer's website and follow the installation instructions on the website.
To reinstall the driver, follow these steps:
1.Press the Windows logo key + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type devmgmt.msc in the Run dialog and press Enter. If an administrator password or confirmation is requested, enter the password or click Allow
- In Device Manager, expand DVD / CD-ROM drives, right-click the CD and DVD devices, and click Uninstall.
4.When prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.
5.Restart the computer.
After the computer is restarted, the drivers will be installed automatically.
If the problem is not resolved, try the next resolution.
