I know you may have heard some similar questions but I have a genuine concern. For the past month, I have had a folder which I just can't delete. I tried refreshing file explorer, used command prompt (it says system cannot find the path specified though I directly copied the path from start menu which worked with every other folder. I dont know what to do. Can anybody help me out. All types of suggestions are welcomed if they helped you.

Thanks for reaching out! I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

Here are some video tutorials online that may be able to help you out. Kindly check the links below and see which one would work best for you. Most of the comments received good responses.

The 2nd video uses the command prompt. I know that have mentioned that you tried using the command prompt to fix this, but kindly check the 2nd video as the steps there may be different than what you have already tried.

What you may also try to do with the "system cannot find the path specified" is to try creating a new file (ex. new folder), name it the same as the one that won't delete, save the new file inside the location of the problematic folder, then try to delete the problematic folder again in the command prompt.

If you find the suggestions to have worked for you, please mark it as helpful. Feedback definitely helps us all. Let's hope for the best. Stay safe.
