Where can I get a complete list of command controls for operating the aircraft using my keyboard & mouse? I've been trying to go through the Training program but get stuck because there is no help for this in the program... I don't have any experience using this simulator but would like to learn it. Is there a good instruction manual for this simulator? Would getting a joystick be a better learn control, if so, what would you recommend for a novice?

Most of what you link to is a long list of defintions, with LOTS of whitepace, images, and ads - will probably require at least a dozen pages.) In other words the information to noise ratio is terrible.

Among the links listed by Greg, Fly Away is you best option. Besides the fact it looks like a great site to have handy in you bookmarks for Flight Simulator, it immediately allows you to download practical printable (pdf among other) copies of the Keyboard Control assignments.
very handy with formats having all on a single sheet or on multiple.

I have compiled a Complete List of Available Key Commands. It should be accurate, but feel free to let me know if I typo'd anything.
This is a complete list of AVAILABLE commands, not a list of default commands. There are plenty of Defaults Key Command lists on the web, but I couldn't find an AVAILABLE Commands list, so I made my own. I used the sim's in-game key command list as a reference.
