Dear All,

We are migrating all our 5000 PCs to New domain thro SCCM . We have intune to push the onedrive policies for SSO,KFM etc.,

There are quite a few machines which are either fully or partially missing the KFM in onedrive.

As checked the machines, the users are signed in to Onedrive thro SSO policies, but the onedrive desktop and user desktop is not in sync.

Under sync app manage backup option, start backup option is enabled (which is not supposed to be enabled for user), once clicked the start backup, the Desktop/documents are immediatley synced with onedrive and I found no more start backup menu enabled (its grayed out) , looks like policy enforced.

Could you please help to understand this behaviour, I have a task to fix the KFM on almost 500+ PCs.

Regards,
Julie

    @Suki Azure

    Did you previously used Windows Folder Redirection Group Policy objects to redirect the Windows Known folders to a location other than OneDrive?

    Could you please compare the group policies listed in the article ”Use OneDrive policies to control sync settings“ to see which policies you have set for OneDrive?
    I suggest you check whether the group policies you set interfere with each other.
    Such as please make sure this policy "Prevent the sync app from generating network traffic until users sign in" is not enabled.
