I was using Edge  as my browser, then switched to Google Chrome as I could not get into two portals without it. I didn't like chrome, and  would like to get the plain Google for my browser - can it be done?

There is no browser called "plain Google." Google is a company, not a browser. Google is perhaps best known for it search engine, which most people just call  "Google." Google is also know for its browser, but that's called "Chrome," not "Google."

I don't like Edge at all, nor do I like Chrome. To me, they are perhaps the two worst browsers available.

There are many choices of free web browsers. My personal favorite is FireFox, but you should ignore my opinion or that of anyone else. I recommend that you download, install, and try several. Choose the one *you* like best, then use it in the future, and uninstall all the others you've installed.

By the way, you may not realize it, but Windows 10 comes with *two* browsers: Edge and Internet Explorer. I don't like Internet Explorer either, but if you haven't tried it you should. You might like it.

    Hi Happy,

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

Google is the search engine, not a web browser. Web Browser by Google is called Google Chrome, by Microsoft is called Microsoft Edge.

Do you want Google as your home page in Microsoft Edge?
