Microsoft news feed personalization issue

I've disabled entertainment and celebrity news several times using the personalize function only to have stories about hollywood/celebrity news fill my news feed anyway.

Also, I am being forced to view a feature called "humor" that's not funny at all. Interestly, this "humor" item doesn't have a disable feature.

It's almost as if Microsoft is forcing upon us moronic stuff we don't want. How can I permanently remove this nonsense from my personalized Microsoft news feed?

Thank you.

"Please connect on"...what? The info that follows this directive is in gibberish code.

Please just state (in clear plain language) why, if I use MSN.com news feed, I have no control over in what Microsoft wants me to see in their "news" feed.

I want solid news! I don't want to see what the Kardashians are up to today or to be entertained by not funny "humor."

Please try again at advising. Thank you.

    To Don:

Thank you for your analysis of the problem of content control by people using the MSN.com news feed. Much appreciated!

    ______

    To Microsoft:

What's up? Why are you making me read, against my wishes, intelligence and interests, about the the fabulous lifestyles of Hollywood morons with way to much money when all I want to do is just read actual news.

Otherwise, if you won't address our ability to control news content on your news feed, I am disabling it.

    Please advise. Thank you.

Are you referring to News app in Windows 10?

    or

    News page in MSN.com?
