Corrupted files that are impossible to delete

Hello, while I was looking at my temp folder, a folder was not being deleted. I looked inside the folder and found this:

Sorry for the large images, but here is what I think caused these corrupted files:

The temp folder is actually located in my USB, and in some cases I have to unplug the USB after my laptop shuts down without ejecting the USB. Maybe this what caused the corrupted data. Also, if these files were here before, can someone tell me on how to delete them? I'm afraid it could corrupt the entire USB drive.

    Hi Rian

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

To remove those corrupted files, you need to run check disk on that drive . . .

Note down the drive letter of that USB drive

Click your Start Button, then just type cmd

From the resulting list, right click Command Prompt, then choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run this command, replacing X with that drive letter:

    chkdsk X; /r

Wait for that command to complete, then close Command Prompt

Check that drive for a folder named Found.000 and if that exists, delete that folder . . .

I'm afraid that it could corrupt my drive and chkdsk also deletes files that aren't corrupted. Does it repair each corrupted file (repairs and restores data) or deletes them?

Edit: Looks like it didn't remove everything (except for those corrupted files)! Unfortunately, it saved 2 CHK files and I had to delete the folder that was associated with the CHK files.
