    Hi Josu

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

Did you change the permissions on the WindowsApps folder, that is the most protected folder on a Windows 10 system and changing those permissions usually bricks all UWP apps in Windows 10

Click your Start Button, then just type cmd

From the resulting list, right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Paste this command into Command Prompt and press Enter:

    icacls "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps" /reset /t /c /q

Wait for that command to complete, then restart (not shut down) your PC

If that command did not reset the permissions on that folder, then to be honest, resetting Windows 10 will be your only option . . .

    Dear Dave (and Josh),

Another (expert only) option ... moderately dangerous if you do not know what you're doing.

Josh obliviously has (file) explorer functioning, and does seem to have above average computing nonce (knowledge/ability).

He could - logged as administrator - use file-explore to look at the two files mentioned via file "properties",

the under the 'security tab' ... and/or 'advanced' sub-tab ... alter the permissions and/or 'ownership'.

Just an observation. I stress - not something novice or average users should try.

    Cheers,

    Rick.

    Hi Josu

If that command did not restore default permissions on that folder, then a Windows Reset is probably the best and only option to resolve this . . .

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.SkypeApp_15.64.80.0_x86_kzf38zg5c\skype\skype.exe      The parameter is incorrect.

    the same for

    Win32Bridge.Server.exe

    dropbox.exe
