Can I buy more storage for my local disk?

If you are referring to your hard disk drive, you cannot buy any additional storage space because a hard drive have fixed storage capacity. There are two options for you to have more storage space on your computer.

Option 1: Purchase larger storage hard disk for your laptop.

Option 2: Purchase external hard drive for your games.

Note: If you will save your game progress on external hard drive, there might be some cases that it won't work or in worst case, the save game progress will get corrupted.

You can use Files On-Demand with a Microsoft 365 subscription.  Then you can get a larger online storage and download files as you use them.

With "Microsoft 365 Family" you can have up to 6 accounts with 1TB each for the whole family or for your multiple accounts.

Buying a larger hard drive or SSD will depend on your Laptop. Have you read all the information about your Laptop to see if it can be increased?
