I am curious what this is and its not a virus cause i already ran a full scan. Ill post a link to the mcafee website where i asked this question and will provide a picture of what i see. (Btw i dont see it running in task manager) https://community.mcafee.com/t5/SecurityCenter/A-file-named-only-when-scrolling-through-connections-protected/m-p/673079#M39351

    Hi ThePlyDo,

I'm Paul, an Independent Advisor and a Windows 10 expert. I hope I can help you with your concern.

    1. This might be a bug on McAfee antivirus. Make sure you install the latest update.
    2. It might be malware that can't be detected through the McAfee scan.

Let's try to gather additional details. Did you disable the Windows built-in Firewall? If not, try to check Windows built-in Firewall if this unknown program is also listed in the "Allowed Apps".

Open Setting => Update & Security => Windows Security => Firewall & Network protection => click Allow an app through Firewall => Try to find the unknown program.

    Let me know the result.

    Thanks.

But heres the thing i want to know what this file is abviously it has no relation to a virus or malware cause everthing i downloaded from microsoft edge chronium always came back and mcafee does virus checks for me automatically never once came back with a problem and I even used virus total to check files i have downloaded and all clean. My question is what is this file and is it harmful. If it is indeed harmful i will talk to mcafee. So back to my original question what is this file and is it harmful and something i should worry about.

It would be best to go to McAfee and get their removal software and completely remove their code.

Use only Windows Security and Malwarebytes.

    .

The best security sits between the chair and the keyboard.  Watch what and where you click.  If you do not know what is there do not click on "Click here".  If you get an email that sates it is from your provider look at the address of the sender.  If it has a couple of letters at the end they are probably the foreign country and that is not where your provider is located.  When downloading programs do it from the maker not anyone else and do not allow any extra items to be included.
