my computer has done this since i got it. we can be in the middle of trying to complete the kdis school work in google docs or watching a video in another program for their since stuff or if the screen saver goes on it will all of a sudden change the colors on the screen to be a horrible inverted look. and you cant undo it by doing the short cut to invert colors from your keyboard or through the menu options the only way to correct it is to do a restart on the computer.

please help any ideass why this might be happening and how to fix it ?

My name is Jan, I’m an Independent Advisor. I'll be happy to help you out today.

    1. Search "Color filters" then open it.

Make sure it is toggled "OFF"

Also, uncheck the " Allow the shortcut key to toggle filter on or off" so if you accidentally press the shortcut keys it will not trigger the invert colors.

2 Also check high contrast settings.

Search "turn high contrast on or off"

Make sure it is also "off"

    1. Uninstall the graphics driver in the Device manager then let Windows update reinstall the drivers.

    Press Windows key + X

    then select Device Manager

    Expand Display Adapter

    Right-Click in your Nvidia Card

    Then select Uninstall.

    restart your PC.

then open Windows update and "check for updates"

    1. This will upgrade and repair your system without losing your files and apps.

Download the Media creation tool here.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    Then choose "ISO"

Once it is downloaded click or open the file using the windows explorer

Then open or click "setup" to run.
