Hi,
This advice doesn't correct the problem. I've used the keyboard troubleshooter, and also updated the keyboard driver, but still have an issue with the streaming dots and periods.
dots or periods continually run in Windows search bar when I left-click to open aps window

When I left-click on the Windows search bar to open the apps window, I get a continuous running line of dots or periods. This also happens when I try to type in browser search bars.
