    Hi,

I'm Independent Advisor not Microsoft employee or support person. I have deep enough Windows knowledge and you may trust me. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you.

You may check this at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardwa... and https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support...

Your i7 2600 has code name Sandy Bridge and is not fully compatible with Windows 10. But this incompatibility is related with build in GPU mainly so you need to disable GPU.

But please check motherboard compatibility too, mane old motherboards cannot work properly with latest Windows 10 builds.

Please check hard drive's health (SMART) with third-party CrystalDiskInfo, paying special attention to 05, C5, and C7 attributes.

I have problem with cpu fan. The cpu is not controlling it and it is on idle mode all the time. I upgraded my PSU and now everytime it pops up "515 power supply fan not found." but I don't think that is related to CPU fan tho. Now I need to go to BIOS and change the fan idle mode thing everytime I want the fan to spinquicker.

CPU fan is controlled by BIOS not CPU itself. Please check for updated BIOS.
