Estimated time for chkdsk to done

Hi. I want to ask, how long for chkdsk to done? I have maybe 528 GB on my C drive (main disk).

And i want to know estimated time for drives that have 1-5 TB of storage.

    Yes, it would take some hours to complete if the drive has problems.

    I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

    The Estimated time depends on a number of factors, most prominently the switches used and the extent of corruption. If there is no corruption, expect the drive to scan within 10 minutes(using chkdsk /f switch).

    Honestly, there is no answer if the corruption is there or the presence of bad sectors - the completion may take many hours or more if you are running with /r switch.
