If the drive needed a driver it would not show up yet. You may have better luck if you try on a Windows 7 or earlier PC as floppies are ancient media to Windows 10.

Update the driver in Device Manager, if that isn't enough then uninstall the driver and restart PC to reinstall.
If nothing else helps then as a last resort try running it in Compatibility Mode:
