Just got a new pair of Live 500BT headphones to use wirelessly on my desktop but when I finally get them to connect (which is a hassle) I only hear bits and pieces of the audio with long gaps of silence in between. The headphones work fine when connected to iPhone or iPad, PC is the problem.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you get choppy and disconnecting audio with JBL LIVE 500BT. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.

    However, please let us know:

    1.     Does this issue occur with all the Bluetooth devices?

    2.     What is the make and model of the computer?

    3.     Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? Refer Which version of Windows operating system am I running?

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to try updating the Bluetooth drivers and see if that helps. Refer the steps mentioned below:

    1. Press Windows logo key + X, and select Device Manager.
    2. Expand Display adapters.
    3. Right click on the display driver and select Update Drivers.
    4. Restart the computer if prompted.

Article for reference: Update drivers in Windows 10.

For additional information, see Fix Bluetooth problems in Windows 10.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,
