Have you also checked if your line out device is enabled in Sounds>Playback? If not, please do so or to do this:

    1. Right-click on Speaker icon in the right-side of your taskbar and select Sounds.
    2. Click Playback tab and see if the said device is listed there.
    3. If not, right-click and make sure the option "Show Disabled devices" is checked.
    4. If the said device is now visible, right-click on it and select Enable.
    5. To make it default, right-click on it again and select Set as Default device.

    Hi FlashElangbam,

I'm Benedict, an Independent Advisor. I'm here to help you.

Kindly try running the Playing Audio Troubleshooter (if you haven't tried this yet) in Settings>Update & Security>Troubleshoot, or to locate this (do this while your audio output device is connected to line out):

    1. Open Start Menu.
    2. Type and search for "Troubleshoot settings". Open it.
    3. In the right pane, if you can't see the said troubleshooter or no recommended troubleshooter is listed, click on Additional troubleshooters.
    4. Now, look for the said troubleshooter and click it.
    5. Click on "Run the troubleshooter"

If that doesn't help, kindly try updating manually your line out/audio output driver in Device Manager:

    1. Open Start Menu.
    2. Type Device Manager and Open it.
    3. Double-Click on the category "Audio inputs and outputs".
    4. Right click on your audio output driver and select "Update Driver".
    5. Next select "Browse my computer for drivers"
    6. Click on "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer".
    7. Make sure the option "Show compatible hardware" is checked.
    8. Select Generic device and click Next. Check and see if that fixes your line out audio issues.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards,

    Benedict P.

Kindly go to Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update. If there is a "View optional updates", click it. Next, click on Driver updates and see if your line out driver is listed there. If so, check that driver and click on "Download and install".

Or have you already tried searching for latest audio driver from the manufacturer support website? If not, please do so.
