Can you set how long the alarm will sound and then shut itself off?

The duration of the alarm sound cannot be modified, you must wait for it to stop ringing and deactivate the option that I told you before so that it does not sound again if not until the next day

Hi, JoeRob63696 I'm Yanecsy and I'm an independent advisor.

    I'm here to help you.

It is very important that you keep in mind that the alarm will only work when you have the computer on. This means that they will sound when the application is closed or the device is locked, but they will not work if the computer is off or in sleep.

To start, the first thing you have to do is open the start menu and click on the Alarms and clock application.

Once you open the application, go to the Alarm section, which is the first in the upper column. In it you have two ways to proceed: you can click on one of the alarms to edit them, or click on the + symbol that you have in the bottom bar to create and configure a new alarm on the computer.

Once you go to the screen for editing or creating an alarm, the first thing you have to do is choose the hour and minute you want it to sound.

The fourth option is the Postponement time, where pressing it will let you choose between 5 minutes, 10, 20, 30 or an hour. This time is the time it will take for the alarm to sound again if when it does it the first time you choose the option to snooze.

If you don't choose a snooze time option, the alarm will only sound once until it's time to ring again if you have it set to repeat several days a week

    Regards.

    Yanecsy

The duration that the sound will have cannot be modified, what you can modify as I already told you is that the alarm does not sound again as a reminder, that is, it sounds again and again because I do not press the discard button

i leave my pc on pretty much 24/7 due to some of my programs that run constantly. i use the alarms & clock as a daily reminder of certain daily tasks. i am a disabled vet with a traumatic brain injury and am often very forgetful. if i leave home for any reason all alarms will still be playing upon my return. are you sure that there isn't some way to limit the length of time that they (alarms) will sound?
