Foxconn BIOS

Hello. I have a Foxconn Rattler P67A01 mainboard. When I put Windows 10 on it I get BSODs within minutes of bootup. Foxconn has deleted all of their support pages, so I am wondering if anyone here knows of where to acquire the last BIOS for this board? The version I have is 4.6.4.

In my searches I have determined that the latest BIOS was either C3AF1P01 previously located here:

http://www.foxconnchannel.com/driverdownload/Motherboard/Intel/Socket%201155/WIN%208-6%20SERIES/RATTLER/BIOS/C3AF1P01.zip

or A53F1P05 previously located here:

http://www.foxconnchannel.com/driverdownload/Motherboard/Intel/Socket%201155/P67A01/BIOS/A53F1P05.zip

The closest I have come is using the Way Back Machine:

https://web.archive.org/web/20121227114517/http://www.foxconnsupport.com/download.aspx

But the .zip files for this board are not there. However, if you are looking for another Foxconn board's files you may have better luck because I have run across at least one that was archived.

All other 3rd party driver sites seem to either link to the addresses above or simply be scams. *sigh*

I just can't believe with all of the data hoarder communities out there no one has a collection of BIOSs. It's unreal.

I'm aware of the risks, which is why I never updated the BIOS. That has proven to be a mistake. On one support forum I read that C3AF1P01 was put out to make the board compatible with Windows 8. So I am assuming that change also makes it compatible with 10.

It's forced obsolescence. Just like the news yesterday that Apple settles with another fine for intentionally slowing down iPhones. They don't want you buying new. But I believe it is also Foxconn trying to rebrand itself after all the dirty news over the years, so they are slowly phasing out the name.

The Foxconn support pages are gone. Look at the links above yourself.

As the bios is very manufacturer specific and using the wrong one can brick the motherboard then I wouldn't risk it, unless you are prepared to buy a new motherboard.

Do you know why Foxconn have removed support for the product. Have you checked the Foxconn support form.

Sorry, I'd no idea they had gone completely.

Unless someone here has the same motherboard I'd doubt you'll get any joy.
