Turning off the monitor on a desktop computer shouldn't affect the webcam recording.

Hi. I want to record videos of me sleeping but want the monitor off. I have a USB camera and using Windows 10.

2020-11-14T12:22:10+00:00 Never tried, but if you setup the camera and start recording all you need do is turn the monitor off... don't you ?
The monitor has no impact on the recording process.
Or, go to Control Panel > Power Options > Change Plan Settings > Turn Off Displayand select how many minutes before
the monitor sleeps.
